Community safety is a foundation for thriving neighborhoods. Yet, many communities in Colorado face challenges that current public safety systems do not fully address. These challenges call for thoughtful reform that centers on healing, equity, and long-term well-being. I want to share why reform is urgent, what it should look like, and how community-led solutions can create safer environments for everyone.
